Midway Concessions & Vendors will be open starting at Noon

Wine Tent will feature local vineyards and beer starting at 3 pm

"Clinch River Idol" Talent Contest kicks off the music entertainment on stage - starts at 4 pm with registration starting at 3:30 pm!!!

SATURDAY - MAY 31 STARTING AT 8 AM

 

Downtown 

CLINCH RIVER FARMERS MARKET 8 am-Noon
"Southwestminster" Dog Show at the Western Front Hotel - starts at 5 pm: registration begins at 4:30 pm. Dogs must be on a leash. Trophy and ribbons to be awarded. No fee to enter.

Heart of Appalachia Visitor Center Open House 8 am -Noon

Mountain Heritage Museum - Open House time TBA

At Oxbow Lake 

KID'S FISHING TOURNAMENT 9 am-Noon; Bring your own fishing pole; bait will be provided. Trophies & prizes will be awarded. Registration at 9 am. Clinch River State Park rangers will be on hand.  

5K RUN/WALK Race will begin at 5 pm. There is a registration fee. Register in advance by calling 276-971-6464 or email yellolab@msn.com.

At the Red Caboose at the Park

CLINCH RIVER ADVENTURES tube float trips and kayak trips, first-come, first-served-no reservations. Also Take a chance on a Lucky Duck - Proceeds will go to the local food bank.

Mussel Nursery Demonstrations hosted by Wetland Estonoa's Team Estonoa! 10 am - 2 pm

FLAG RAISING CEREMONY conducted by the 1st VA Calvary, Company D, Washington Rifles & Camp #840, Sons of Confederate Veterans at 11 am.

Living History encampment & demonstrations on the riverbank

Craft and food vendors, games, and more

Disney Princesses will be on hand

Petting Zoo hosted by Donkeyville Stables 12-4 pm
